Facial Plastic Surgery Fort Worth
Face Lift (Rhytidectomy)
Time changes everything. At New Leaf Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery we are able to help turn back the hands of time with facelift surgery. The face is usually the first part of our bodies to show the visible signs of aging. With facelift surgery we are able to rejuvenate and refresh your look, helping you feel and look your best. Facelift surgery smoothes loose skin on the face and tightens underlying tissues, giving you a firmer, fresher look. There are several types of facelift surgery. At New Leaf Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, we consult with patients individually to decide the process that will best suit them and will produce the most natural results.
Brow Lift
For patients wanting to achieve a look that more closely matches their youthful spirit, a brow lift is often the answer. As we know, our skin changes as we age, and our faces show it. Brow lift surgery reduces frown lines, helps correct deep horizontal creases in the forehead, and lifts sagging, drooping brows. Brow lift surgery is often performed in conjunction with other procedures to achieve a more harmonious overall appearance.
Eyelid Rejuvenation (Blepharoplasty)
Eyelid rejuvenation surgery is one of the most effective surgeries in reversing the inevitable signs of aging. By removing excess skin and if needed, fat from the upper and lower eyelids, we’ll be able to help you look more refreshed and relaxed. New Leaf Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers eyelid rejuvenation surgery to patients wanting to correct features that make them feel older and look more fatigued than they really are. Eyelid rejuvenation surgery can be done alone, or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures.
Facial Fractures
Facial fractures are fractures in the bones of the face – the upper jaw, lower jaw, cheeks, and nose or eye sockets – usually the result of motor vehicle accidents, falls, sports or industrial accidents, and physical altercations. Facial fractures are treated as any other type of fracture in the body, stabilization and fixation, traditionally through plate and screw fixation to allow the bones to grow back together properly. Our goal at New Leaf Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is to return the injured area to normal function and appearance.
BOTOX® Cosmetics
The effects of aging and gravity eventually take their toll on us all. One way to help reverse the signs of aging is with BOTOX® Cosmetic at New Leaf Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This non-surgical procedure can temporarily smooth fine lines and wrinkles, giving patients a more rested, youthful appearance. During the in-office procedure, the physician will administer several tiny injections into the muscles keeping them from contracting, causing those pesky frown lines. No anesthesia is required and discomfort is usually minimal. There is no downtime with this procedure and can often be done on your lunch break. BOTOX® Cosmetics injections are usually repeated every four months to keep you smooth and virtually wrinkle-free.

Facial Fillers
Facial fillers are injectables used to reduce lines and wrinkles in the face as well as add volume and fill in creases giving you a rested, youthful look. Facial filler procedures are performed in the New Leaf Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery office and do not require anything more than a topical or local anesthetic. Results are immediate and recovery time is minimal. Facial fillers have relatively long-lasting results and, depending on the type of filler that is used, only have to be repeated every 4 to 12 months.
Prominent Ears (Otoplasty)
Nothing affects the way we feel about ourselves quite as much as what others think and say about our appearance. People with prominent ears, or ears that stick out further from the head than what is considered normal, are often the target of teasing and ridicule and often have low self esteem and marked self- consciousness. Prominent ear surgery is one of the most successful of all plastic surgeries. By making a small incision behind the ear, the surgeon is able to reshape the ear cartilage helping them to sit closer to the head.
